Kempo Jujutsu is a blend of two different Japanese arts which come together, harmoniously as a beautiful and deadly art form. “Kempo” in Japanese translated as “Fistic Law” while “Jujutsu” is roughly translated as “Soft Technique.”
Nan Sho Budo utilizes Kempo Jujutsu, as the art form for the modern day bushi. Striking, evasion, multiple opponent tactics, and ground combat techniques form the basis of Nan Sho Budo. The Nan Sho system holds elements from Judo, Kempo and Japanese Jujutsu, Â incorporating controlling techniques, joint locks, and strikes. This is a non-competitive art and is utilized purely for defense of others and self.
