Southern Pine Institute of Martial Arts offers traditional Japanese Nan Sho Kempo Jujutsu, Progressive Arnis, Modular Blade Concepts and the Japanese sword art of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaido Seiho-Ha. The primary teaching philosophy of the Nan Sho system is to teach techniques and principles that are practical to all body types and age levels. The techniques taught hold elements of both control and quick combat effectiveness. The methods of self defense taught are not meant for competition and are viewed as necessary for the protection and advancement of the self and others.
